One of the most iconic beauty spots in all of Australia, it's everything the photos promise. The walk from the carpark to the lookout is well formed and easy for anyone with even a basic fitness, it's definitely worth pushing yourself and walking down to the beach, even on a busy day, it's relatively quiet on the beach. Get to the carpark early and you'll miss the crowds.
A beautiful hike with giant rocks on the way, fresh air and amazing views.
You do have to pay to get into the park, just a heads up. The walk down the stairs is a good workout, but worth doing as it takes you right onto the beach. We saw a mother wallaby in the parking lot, very sweet treat for our new travellers.
Freycinet National Park is spectacular. The walk down to Wineglass Bay is challenging with the 1000 steps but absolutely worth the effort.
NO GUTS, NO GLORY!!!
Swim in the refreshing blue water will invigorate for the walk out.
Nice bay and walk. Honeymoon bay just as nice nearby.
Beautiful hike around the wineglass bay. Some amazing views of the beach down below. Tend to get very windy on the walkways.
Picturesque beach and mountain views. Please do not take the walk lightly and stay safe. Remember to watch out for snakes on the trails.
Definitely one of the highlights from our recent trip to Tasmania. If you love a good hike with spectacular views then get to Wineglass Bay. Only did the walk up to the lookout which takes around 30mins. Go early in the day so you can walk to Wineglass Bay and back again (2.5 hour round trip) and enjoy some stunning views.
